Mija - melbourne Museum

We spent International Womens Day 2026 in creativity and connection with a special autumnal collage workshop and reading room. We gathered at Melbourne Museum to celebrate creative Latine women across the arts by making collages (materials provided) and reading selected works of literature (handouts provided).

Participants left the workshop with their final collage, reading materials to keep and some journal prompts for post-workshop reflections. All attendees also were able to view our Nosotrxs Somos film, screening as part of the Culture Makers in the Melbourne story exhibit.
